Find Your Flavor: Johnny D’s Brew Coffee Guide
Your next favorite cup starts with what you love. Whether you reach for smooth morning coffee, chocolate-inspired flavors, or a bold dark roast, use this guide to find your starting point.
Smooth and easygoing
For an everyday cup, start with Breakfast Blend: a medium roast that’s balanced, mellow, and easy to drink. Prefer gentle cocoa notes? Try Brazil Santos, a smooth medium-roast single origin.
Chocolate and dessert-inspired
Choose Mocha for rich chocolate flavor, or Chocolate Hazelnut for a chocolate-and-nutty combination. Turtle brings together chocolate, caramel, and a hint of hazelnut. For a different dessert-inspired cup, Pecan Pie has a flavor profile of roasted pecans, caramelized sugar, and browned butter.
Cozy spice or refreshing mint
Mexican Chocolate pairs chocolate with cinnamon and vanilla. Pumpkin Spice features pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and is available year-round. For a festive peppermint-flavored cup, try Candy Cane.
Bold and full-bodied
If you like a stronger roast character, start with 6 Bean Blend. This dark-roast house blend makes a bold, full-bodied cup and stands up to milk. French Roast is another dark-roast choice for a deep, full-bodied brew.
Fruity and distinctive
Explore Costa Rica for tasting notes of sweet apple, raisin, and honey, or Colombia for dried orange, berry, and chocolate. Tanzania is a medium-light roast with pear, floral, jasmine, and strawberry notes.
Flavored coffee or tasting notes?
Our flavored coffees, such as Mocha and Pumpkin Spice, use added flavoring. Single-origin tasting notes describe the coffee’s flavor character, rather than added fruit, chocolate, or other ingredients. Check each product’s description for details.
A simple way to choose
Start with the flavor family you enjoy most. Taste your coffee black first, then add milk or sweetener if that’s how you like your cup. Roast, brewing method, and what you add can change your experience, so use these descriptions as a starting point, not a rulebook.
